Smart Quill is Twittering
Posted on July 23rd, 2012
In fact, Smart Quill has been on Twitter since the beginning of the year. My tweets were originally about the weather, but I think I have the hang of it now. I try to follow agents and authors and publishers and digital startups who offer interesting advice and news. I also tweet books that I am reading with photographs of covers. Real books are such a luxury when mostly I am confined to scripts on pages or a screen. Anyway, now there is a nice little birdy icon on the website for you to follow Smart Quill.
Also, the website has been rejigged to reflect increased services and a broader editorial remit: commercial fiction, literary fiction, non-fiction, children’s fiction, YA, picture books, and text for apps. The Digital Direction service is up and running, to provide writers with all the digital publishing options. Finally, I am providing further attention to “preagenting”, my new term to describe the Agent Recommendation Service: more and more Smart Quill projects will be passed on to a top literary agent with a personal introduction. The hope is to uncover new talent and kickstart lots of exciting book deals.
